Social Responsibility
At Gravit8, we recognize the importance of social responsibility in today's interconnected world. We are committed to leveraging our technological expertise to make a positive impact on society — supporting empowerment through eco-friendly practices, and fostering learning and innovative skills in our communities and beyond.
Gravit8 Give
We collect refurbished workstations and laptops, reload them with Linux, and donate to churches, schools, and those in need. We also offer work experience mentoring during the rebuild phases.
Internships
Being part of MICT SETA, Gravit8 constantly have a number of interns getting mentorship and work experience. To date, we have mentored twelve interns, and offered full-time positions to seven of these.
Donations
We offer reduced markups and labour rates to NGOs and NPOs. We support Mandela Day, SPCA, NSRI, Marie Stopes South Africa, OBSID, VWS, SANCCOB, and others.
Software & Services
Radically reduced pricing available for education institutes and NGO/NPO organisations for:
- Software licensing (Adobe, Microsoft, ESET)
- Hardware procurement
- Support SLAs
Qualification Requirements:
- SARS-registered NPO/NGO/Education institute (valid certificate required)
- NGO/NPOs must be not-for-profit bodies
